We were stranded and couldn’t seem to get any of the so called Roadside Assistance that these places offer. We were at our wits end until we called Dr. Phil (actual P. H.D) and his son Jason. They were in and out in less time than it took to actually find them online. He gave us an estimate and pretty much that i’s What it was! pricing was fair, work was Superb and the company was outstanding. It didn’t take long to get us up and back on the road.

Safety Tips While Waiting for Truck Repair in Monroe County

When faced with a truck breakdown in Monroe County, your safety and that of other road users is paramount. Firstly, ensure your truck is as far off the roadway as possible. This reduces the risk of accidents and allows other vehicles to pass safely. If you have safety equipment like flares or warning triangles, use them to alert other drivers to your presence.

While waiting for the team from J&J Truck & Trailer Repair, it’s generally safest to stay inside your vehicle. This is particularly important in adverse weather conditions or stranded on a busy road. However, if you assess that it’s safer outside the truck, especially in extreme conditions like a fire, then prioritize your safety above all else.

Finally, while you wait for assistance, you can contact our team at 313-999-3088 for guidance and support. We can provide helpful advice on managing the situation until help arrives. We aim to ensure your safety and peace of mind during a stressful and potentially dangerous time.

Have a question?

Erie was started in 1790 by Métis people moving south from Monroe. Early on, a log church named St. Joseph sur la Baie Miami was built here. Father Gabriel Richard often conducted mass here.

The township was officially organized as one of the first five townships in Monroe County, Michigan Territory, in 1827. The township was originally much larger and included the present-day townships of Bedford, La Salle, and about a 0.5-mile-long (0.8 km) stretch of the Toledo Strip. When a post office was established in 1827, it was given the name of “Bay Settlement”. The township’s name was changed to Erie in 1835. Bedford Township and La Salle Township were broken off from Erie Township and established in 1836. In the same year, the Toledo Strip portion of Erie Township was given to the state of Ohio. Luna Pier, which occupied the northeast portion of the township, incorporated as a city in 1963, separating it from the township.

The last boundary change within Erie Township came in 1973 when the Supreme Court of the United States intervened on a border dispute involving the small and uninhabited Turtle Island, 2 miles (3 km) offshore in Lake Erie. The 1.5-acre (0.6 ha) island was divided in half, with one side given to Erie Township. The other side of the island, which contains the abandoned Turtle Island Light, was given to Ohio.
